Day from...

Not to hyperbolize or anything...today was the worst day ever! Kacie Leigh's no good very awful horribly bad day. Wake up, late. Hair, flat and frizzy. shaving, missed a spot or 7. Outfit, dis-functional. Seminary, awkward. Legs, bruised and semi-hairy. Nail polish, peeling. Phone, lost. Found? no. found yet? no. now? NOOOOOO!!!! dance? boring. Sister? pulmonary embolism. saw my stalker at the mall. I broke 3 computers in study hall. My room is still dirty. I dropped my camera and it temporarily broke. I cried because technology hates me!
Irony...while writing this list I realized a few things did go well and I am cheating you and I by not appreciating them...my costume turned out well. I did well on my math test...i think.

I’m so afraid because i am so profoundly happy. happiness like this is frightening. They only let you be this happy if they are preparing to take something from you.

story of my life

The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they always see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be.

so cute:)

I fell in love with her courage, her sincerity, and her flaming self respect. And it’s these things I’d believe in, even if the whole world indulged in wild suspicions that she wasn’t all she should be. I love her and it is the beginning of everything.

shoes.

Dear Anonymous,

I never considered myself a "shoe freak". That is until Ashlee Bahr told me that I was a "shoe freak". She said (and I quote) "Woah. got enough shoes in your closet." I didn't know what to say then but, I do now "No, I only have 40 pairs, I thought I had more."
Yesterday, October 4th, I decided to take an inventory of how many pairs of shoes I have. That is, the ones in my closet {there are many more in the bathroom, laundry room, garage, bathtub, shoe store, ect.} So, I took my yellow legal pad, sat on my shoe infested floor, and got to work. I classified my shoes by style and price. Here are my results.

Sandals: 9
Tennies: 11
Slippers: 3
Pumps: 6
Flats: 11

$15-$10: 3
$10-$5: 6
$5-0: 21

90% under $15

Not that anyone really cares about my shoes except me:)

Funnies

Dear Anonymous,

Today is a funny day...

1. My friend Brady has to do a power-point on cocaine (and how harmful it is) because he made a Kurt Cobain joke in Health class.

2. My transmission gave out in my family's car (at a stoplight) while we were car-pooling people

3. I have said the wrong things at the wrong time in almost every occasion today

4. I told my nephew that a lot of girls are going to like him when he grows up and he replied,"Ya and I am going to wink at them and tell them I love them." I, being a teenage girl myself, replied, "No, you are going to tell them that you are going on a mission." He laughed and agreed. We will see how long this will last.

5. What I said in Psych today, "No Jonathon not every shirtless male is Taylor Lautner." I didn't even intend it to be funny.

6. Also in Psych my teacher said, "Stop saying all the ones that are meant to be motherly look like Justin Bieber."

7. The elevator at my school is padded. I may just feel crazier being inside with padded walls all around me and no windows.

8. I couldn't decide whether to capitalize in this post or not. So, I decided to do half and half.

sometimes its okay to not make sense

Dear Anonymous,

Chelsey, What should I blog about?

I don't know. I cannot think about that... I don't know what to wear

Perfect. I thought.

I will write a poem about not knowing what to wear...

Joke. I am not going to lie though, I tried. But, thank goodness for the backspace button because that was one of the worst poems I have ever written. That is really saying something considering I wrote an ode to the scratchy bathroom mirrors at school and another that included a microwave and a toothbrush.

Kacie

p.s. I hope you enjoyed that raw bit of me.

I can't cough cough I am sick

Dear Anonymous,

Being sick is stupid for the following reasons:

1. it doesn't care if you had plans.
2. it really doesn't care if you were home alone
3. it doesn't care if it makes you feel like you are A.) bulimic B.)pregnant or C.) drunk neither of which are good
4. it doesn't care if your are stealing all the attention on your sisters birthday weekend even if you don't want it

but yet, I am still in a fetal position on the bed because it cares enough to make sure I am too nauseous to go to Benihanas.

cough cough,

Boredom...and bliss

Dear Anonymous.

Boredom. To put it the best way possible, when you have a lack of emotion. Bliss. when you have an overwhelming amount of emotion. Irony. when you go to write about boredom and then, one of your favorite song comes on and you completely forget why you were bored with your life.
Shout-out... Lenka, thanks for letting me see boredom is completely conditional to your emotion.

fearfully courageous

Dear Anonymous,

I believe it takes fear to have courage, and vice versa. One cannot know they are courageous unless they knew that they were fearful. Similarly, one will never know the fear they possess unless they have a knowledge of the courage they don't. So, which one came first fear or courage. I think it is almost as impossible to answer as which came first the chicken or the egg.
p.s. it had to be the chicken because other ways who would lay on the egg and produce the egg. To me it is as obvious as 2 + 2.

Bandwagon

Dear Anonymous,
Bandwagons, not my thing. Reason #1 why I don't have a Facebook. Anyways, when I was pressed at school to get a blog I kept telling people I already had one. Truth. But, it was not a writing blog, just a fashion blog. Sooo, in order for everyone to read it, I give you, My Letters To Anonymous. Read as you please.
p.s.
Ashlee, this is so you and I can stay in touch when you depart for France!

something to celebrate

Dear Anonymous,

I think that in life you have two things that make you want to live.
1. your heart
2. your brain
You may be thinking, "duh, they function as the two most vital organs in your body!" While I am thinking in the literal sense, I am also thinking figuratively.

Your heart. Your passion feeds your life. If one was passionless, they would have no desire to live. One may find passion in music, art, books, physical activity (dare I say, sports), and dance. Fortunately, in life we do not just have 1 passion. I believe that if we had one passion eventually that passion would make us passionless.

Your brain. Two words, think blissfully. My motto in life is to always show that you are whimsical and always think that you are blissful. With these, you can catch whatever life throws at you.
